Company description:

My client is a nationwide supplier of roofing products, a leader in the industry and have multiple sites across the US. They are recruiting for an Maintenance Manager with an engineering background and strong leadership experience due to internal changes within the company. This is working a days position Monday – Friday, with the salary on offer for this position being circa $110,000 – $140,000 depending on experience.

Responsibilities as an Maintenance Manager:

• Provide leadership and direction to the Maintenance Department
• Defining all maintenance processes and workflows related to the maintenance, repair, and replacement of plant equipment
• Ensure equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime through the application of preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Responsible for budget control
• Maintain facility assets and infrastructure, including utilities, buildings, structures, and grounds
• Managing the planning, scheduling and preventative maintenance programs
• Managing Maintenance department with up to 20 technicians
• 80/20 Shop floor - Office
• Maintaining mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Maintaining CNC machines, Roll Formers, Welding Equipment, Presses, Slitters
• Assigning work orders

Experience Required as an Maintenance Manager:

• Proven experience in Maintenance Management (5 years)
• Engineering Background preferred
• Strong background in preventative and predictive maintenance, mechanical/electrical reliability, and plant utilities
• Strong leadership experience
• Forward thinking
• Great people management skills
• Proficiency in production planning and scheduling
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
