We are working with an established industrial product manufacturer based north of Cincinnati, OH. They are recruiting for an Quality Manager to run the department Monday-Friday in return for a salary in the region of $90-100,000 along with employment benefits.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Lead a team of 4 Quality Technicians and 1 Lead Technician
• Develop, implement and manage the company quality management system.
• Implement Root Cause Analysis (RCA), 5s and fishbone diagram for cause and effect.
• Serve as lead internal auditor of ISO/SQF certifications.
• Supervise workers engaged in inspection and testing activities.
• Ensure productivity and technical integrity while meeting schedules and commitments.
• Ensure a high level of internal and external customer service.
• Investigate and correct customer issues and complaints relating to quality.
• Analyze data and specs to set quality and reliability standards.
• Provide technical and statistical expertise to teams.
• Formulate, document and maintain quality control standards.
• Coordinate objectives and production procedures in cooperation with other Plant Managers.
• Create, document and implement inspection criteria and procedures.
• Interpret quality control philosophy to key personnel within the company.
• Provide, and oversee, inspection activity for product throughout production cycle.
• Interact with vendors to ensure quality of all purchased parts.
• Create and direct environmental test functions and applications.
• Maintain active role on internal Continuous Improvement teams.
• Design, develop and implement quality control training programs.
• Comply with all Safety and Health rules.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

• B.S. Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing/Quality Engineering / Chemistry, or equivalent education and experience.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to read, write and interpret production procedures as well as reports.
• Experienced in defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and recommended best cost effective
