Assembly Line Operator- Job Description & Responsibilities:
- As an Aerial Lift Assembly Line Operator, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process of aerial lift equipment. Operating within our assembly line in Shelby, NC, you will contribute to the production of high-quality aerial lift equipment that exceeds industry standards and customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Assembly Line Operations: Execute assembly line tasks according to established procedures.
- Quality Control: Perform quality checks at each stage to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including inventory counts, production logs, and quality inspection reports.
- Equipment Operation: Operate various machinery and tools required for the assembly process.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot issues that may arise during the assembly process, escalating complex problems to supervisors as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets and resolve any operational challenges efficiently.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and machinery used in the assembly process.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
- Commitment to safety protocols and practices.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to meet production deadlines.
- Prior experience in assembly line operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
