We help organizations around the world use it — and communicate more effectively with it — to boost staff transparency, engagement, and trust.
Why it Matters: As a Business Development Associate, you will serve an integral role in securing, maintaining, and growing the customer base with thoughtful outreach and exceptional service to potential clients. Working on a growing team, you’ll be identifying and developing new revenue opportunities and, ultimately, growing the revenue of this successful new product.

- 1 years of proven customer or client facing experience - business development, sales, account management, or recruiting
- Experience managing sales pipelines including researching, prospecting new business leads, outbound outreach and prioritizing based on intent-signals is a plus
- Detail-oriented with strong time-management skills, a competitive streak and a natural inclination to push oneself to be the best
- Strong project management skills and sales fundamentals
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, experience speaking with clients on the phone is a plus
- Eager for and receptive to feedback
- Proficiency using CRM software to manage sales processes and pipelines
Don’t forget:
- Axios HQ believes in fair and equitable pay. On target earning for this role is in the range of $60,000-$80,000/year and is dependent on numerous factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, and skill
- This is a hybrid position out of our Arlington, VA location - 2x days per week in office
