Key Responsibilities:
- Generate New Business: Research and identify prospective clients in the genetic diagnostics, pathogen detection, and personalized medicine industries. Develop and implement sales strategies to acquire new clients and grow existing accounts.
- Develop Sales Strategy: Lead the creation and execution of strategic sales initiatives within the genetic testing and pathogen testing markets. Focus on increasing revenue and expanding market share in diagnostic services.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including OB/GYNs, clinicians, healthcare providers, insurance companies, and hospitals. Build strategic partnerships to grow market presence in genetic testing services.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct in-depth market analysis and competitor research within the genetic testing, pathogen diagnostics, and personalized healthcare sectors to stay ahead of industry trends and improve market positioning.
- Industry Networking: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to grow brand awareness and establish key connections within genetic testing, pathogen detection, and biotechnology sectors.
- Must Have: Laboratory Experience – Proven experience working with genetic testing technologies, pathogen diagnostics, laboratory testing, and diagnostic assays. Hands-on experience in labs and familiarity with diagnostic PCR, NGS, IHC, flow cytometry, or biomarker testing is a must.
- Healthcare & Pharmaceutical Knowledge: Strong background in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, and a clear understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards in genetic testing and pathogen diagnostics.
- Sales Experience: Excellent ability to negotiate, communicate, and present complex diagnostic testing solutions to hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare organizations.
- Proven Record: Demonstrated ability to exceed sales targets in diagnostic testing, genetic services, or pathogen detection industries.
Willingness to travel across the assigned territory within a 200-mile radius, representing the company in key accounts, clinics, hospitals, and industry events.

- Territory: Detroit Metropolitan area - Lansing & in between
- Home every night! Very uncommon for overnight trips.
