Environmental Health and Safety Manager

Axios Professional Recruitment is partnered with a Manufacturing client in Muskegon, Michigan who is actively looking to hire qualified individuals for an Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) Manager career. The ideal candidate will be able to implement safety policies and procedures, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with regulations, and more.

EH&S Manager Responsibilities:

• Inspect facilities to identify safety, health, and environmental risks
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement safety policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and other federal, state, and local regulations
• Provide technical support to safety committees and assist with safety training
• Review incident reports and develop strategies to minimize workplace injuries

EH&S Manager Qualifications:
To be considered for the EH&S Manager position, applicants should:

• Have a minimum of five years of experience in EH&S
• Possess a background in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Be skilled in conducting safety inspections and implementing regulations
• Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills
• Be capable of traveling approximately 30% of the time
