We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Panel Builder Electrician to join our team specializing in the assembly, wiring, and installation of electrical control panels for industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial electrical systems, a strong understanding of electrical schematics, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Panel Builder Electrician Requirements
Panel Assembly : Build and assemble electrical control panels according to specifications, ensuring all components are correctly installed and wired.
Electrical Wiring : Perform wiring of electrical components, including transformers, contactors, relays, and circuit breakers, in accordance with electrical diagrams and technical drawings.
Testing & Troubleshooting : Conduct functional testing of electrical panels and equipment, diagnosing issues and implementing corrective actions to resolve problems efficiently.
Compliance & Safety : Ensure all work meets industry safety standards, local codes, and company policies, maintaining a safe work environment at all times.
Documentation : Prepare and maintain accurate records of panel designs, wiring diagrams, and test results for client and internal reference.
Installation Support : Assist with the installation of control panels at customer sites, ensuring that systems are correctly integrated and functional.
Continuous Improvement : Provide recommendations for design and process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
Panel Builder Electrician Qualifications
Education : Completion of an apprenticeship in electrical or electronics, or a related field, preferred, but not required.
Experience : Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a panel builder electrician or similar role within an industrial environment.
Technical Skills : Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams. Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, and other industrial control equipment.
Tools & Equipment : Hands-on experience with electrical hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
Knowledge of Standards : Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety standards, including NEC, IEC, or equivalent regulations.
Problem-Solving : Ability to troubleshoot electrical problems efficiently and effectively in both panel assembly and system installation.
Physical Requirements : Ability to lift and move heavy panels, stand for long periods, and work in tight spaces as required.
Communication Skills : Strong written and verbal communication skills to liaise with team members, clients, and vendors.
