This position plays a critical role in supporting legal operations by managing both physical and digital records with a strong emphasis on accuracy, confidentiality, and organization.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming legal documents and correspondence.
- Maintain and organize both physical and electronic files using the firm’s standardized systems.
- Update and manage internal legal databases and client records.
- Locate and deliver requested files for attorneys and legal support staff.
- Input accurate data into firm systems and records.
- Prepare documents for digital storage; assist in scanning and digitization projects.
- Support secure disposal of outdated records in compliance with firm policies.
- Handle sensitive legal documents with discretion and professionalism.
- Assist attorneys and paralegals with record-related tasks as needed.
- Professionally manage inquiries from staff and external contacts.
Qualifications:
