Sales Manager Responsibilities:
- Catering Sales Strategy Development – Create and execute plans to drive revenue for catering and event services
- Team Leadership & Mentorship – Lead and develop a high-performing sales team to exceed sales goals
- Client Relationship Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to tailor catering services to their needs
- Event Planning & Coordination – Oversee event logistics, ensuring exceptional service and guest experiences
- Budget & Performance Analysis – Monitor sales targets, catering budgets, and market trends for continuous improvement
Sales Manager Qualifications:
To be considered for the Sales Manager position, applicants should:
- Have an Associate’s Degree or higher in Business, Hospitality, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Possess 8 years of catering sales experience, preferably in a AAA 4-Diamond hotel or upscale environment
- Have 5 years of experience in a casino or resort setting with a strong guest service focus
- Demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills to manage a dynamic team
- Be available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
