The Call Out Dispatcher will process and prioritize incoming calls for service. Record work activities, keep records and work with computers.
Essential Functions
- Answering all incoming requests for service and routing the information to the appropriate field personnel.
- Collecting all pertinent information from the caller using excellent verbal and communication skills
- Answer all calls in a courteous and professional manner
- Supports the departmental operations with regular and timely attendance at work.
- Answer call from customer and dispatch to corresponding area
- Answer call from mechanic and respond to customer.
- Calls will be received on at least 5 platforms.
- Keep notes on call outs for downtime reports
- Be familiar with Axip’s Enbase platform to see units that will be call outs
- Follow all company SOP's, safety policies and procedures
- Performs other duties as required or assigned.
- Compression experience a plus
- Follow through after first contact both internal and external with communications until service is completed.
- Experience in data entry
- High School diploma or GED required
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with employees and customers.
- Ability to read, write, understand and follow oral and written instructions as well as write clearly and spell correctly.
- Ability to use judgement and decision-making skills to evaluate situations, establish priorities and resolve issues.
- Willingness to work various days, shifts and be on-call to meet business needs
- Must be able to take direction from superiors and work cooperatively with others and/or independently to carry out tasks appropriately
