What are the responsibilities and job description for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) position at Axis ABA Therapy and Support Services?
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Provide direct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy in one-on-one and group settings to children and adolescents with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Conduct functional behavior assessments, language and skills assessments, and functional analyses
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on the principles of ABA
- Develop behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols
- Train and supervise behavior technicians implementing treatment plans
- Design data collection systems to track and evaluate client progress
- Analyze data and monitor client progress toward goals.
- Provide parent, caregiver, and teacher training on the principles of ABA and behavior modification
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with a treatment team including client, parents and caregivers, teachers, medical professionals, and other pediatric disciplines.
- Assist with oversight of the clinic (including ensuring compliance with insurance requirements for session notes, treatment plans, supervision, treatment authorizations, RBT requirements, etc.).
- Maintain and acquire technical knowledge by attending required trainings and professional development events.
Requirements:
- Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA®) granted by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
- Licensed in the state of Iowa granted by The Board of Behavioral Science
- Experience working with children with autism or special needs

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
