What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Assistant position at Axis Clinicals Llc?
Summary
This position would operate as an assisting role to all of clinical operations. They would be trained and learn procedures in Screening, the Study Suite, Clinical Lab, and office related work in regards to preparing upcoming studies. This position would be able to back-up and support all the aforementioned areas within the Clinical Department. Ensuring any busy days/times or overlapping activities are covered both during the week and on the weekends. This position should free up full-time clinical employees to focus more on study preparation and audits. This is a part-time position working up to 30 hours/week.
Essential Functions
Back-up the screening department by assisting with: blood draws, ECGs, Vital signs collection, clinical lab collection (urine, cotinine, etc.)
Prepare study suites and study related equipment including: tube labelling, study suite cleaning, check-in activity preparation, and document creation, chart reviews from screening.
Assist the sample processing lab with bagging and inventorying of samples.
Assist in the study suites with study related activities including (calling time, ECGs, vital signs, and phlebotomy (if trained).
