Description
The purpose of the Clinical Nursing Coordinator is to assist with dosing, clinical research trials and subject safety activities. Must be well organized with strong interpersonal communication skills to interact effectively with professional, administrative staff, patients and potential subjects. Works in collaborative effort with AXIS Clinicals staff and within administrative structure.

Essential Functions |
- Assist with the dosing of Investigational Products according to study protocol and training procedures.
- Ability to perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, peripheral IV line insertion, and assist physicians and providers with procedures.
- Monitor subject safety during dosing and clinical research trials.
- Address and document observed and reported adverse events during clinical research trials.
- Report significant adverse events to AXIS Clinicals investigator(s), as appropriate.
- Assist in study conduct to ensure all conduct and protocol activities are completed and deviations from the protocol are minimized.
- Oversees the coordination of part-time RN resources as study schedule warrants.
- Performs other duties as assigned or directed to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Execute other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements |
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.

Certification/Licensure Requirements (If Applicable) |
Required: Current active RN licensure with the Minnesota Board of Nursing. BLS Certified.
Preferred: ACLS Certified.
