Commercial Pool Builder Superintendent - Commercial Aquatics

Axis Commercial Aquatics, an industry leader specializing in the design and construction of aquatic facilities across the central states is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team that builds fun for all ages. Applicant should have strong knowledge of the Design-Build Process, field coordination, commercial construction, mechanical systems, and a willingness to travel. Aquatic construction experience is helpful but not required.

The Superintendent will be expected to perform the following functions: Onsite Management of projects ranging in size from $300k to $5 million, from the permit process through construction and final inspection. Other responsibilities include coordination with other contractors, project scheduling, an inspection of work in progress, job site safety, and managing subcontractors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

Define project tasks and resource requirements

Plan and schedule project timelines with the Project Manager

Coordinate all subcontractors and project schedule

Site inspections and safety audits

Attend and hold project progress meetings with subcontractors, preparation and distribution meeting minutes

Develop and maintain reports on Construction activity and keep management informed of progress on a regular basis

Develop and maintain positive working relationships with owners, vendors, contractors

Review project documents to determine time frame, Means & Methods, staffing requirements and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.

Receiving and checking in of deliveries

Coordinate compliance with all relevant governmental and regulatory agencies.

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and requirements, including but not limited to OSHA rules.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Field Superintendent construction experience - 3 years

Proficient with computer software used in the construction industry

Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

Must have a valid driver's license and safe driving record

Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
