Our R&D team is looking for an Experienced Software Development Engineer to join our mission of building and operating the Axis Cloud Connect platform—an integral part of our world-leading network product ecosystem.

Meet Your Future Team

You’ll join the Connected Infrastructure team within R&D, a highly skilled group of cloud enthusiasts responsible for developing and maintaining core functionalities of the Axis Cloud Connect platform. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do—working together to create secure, scalable, and efficient cloud solutions.

Your Role as an Experienced Software Development Engineer

In this role, you’ll focus on designing, developing, and operating the core services that power the Axis Cloud Connect platform. You'll work with cutting-edge tools like GitHub, AWS, OpsGenie, DataDog, and Jira to ensure the seamless functionality and reliability of these services.

Our primary language is Go, but we also embrace other technologies like TypeScript when the need arises. Expect a hands-on role where you will:

• Build robust cloud services using AWS tools and technologies.
• Operate and maintain the services you develop to ensure high availability and performance.
• Collaborate with talented engineers to continuously improve the platform.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with top-tier developers on a platform that strengthens the security, feature set, and operational efficiency of our industry-leading products.

We'd love to hear that you have/are:

• A few years of experience building cloud services in Amazon Web Services
• Fluent in any modern backend language, preferably Go
• Like working in an agile environment
