Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Project Manager to support our project management team in overseeing commercial construction projects. This role is essential in ensuring project efficiency, communication, and coordination among our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing commercial construction projects from inception to completion.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates on timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure all project requirements are met.
- Help manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and schedules.
- Facilitate communication between team members and stakeholders to address issues and resolve conflicts.
- Support the preparation of project reports and presentations for management and clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction or project management.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulation and project timelines.
- Proficient in Procore and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
