- The P&A Wireline Operator (Cased-Hole) will execute operations in all aspects of wireline functions required to support Plug & Abandonment operations which may include, but is not limited to, rigging up the truck at the service location, assisting with all operations in the shop and leading wireline operations at the wellsite.
- This individual will also operate and maintain the assigned wireline truck and equipment, complete daily tickets, as well as keeps records for the overall operation.
- The P&A Wireline Operator position is a labor-intensive role within our Wireline division.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Installs / disassembles (rig up/rig down) of wireline and pressure control equipment in accordance with original equipment manufacturer’s standards including verification of applicable certifications. Assembles, secures, and disconnects equipment.
- Have a working knowledge and the ability to run and operate: perforating guns, setting CIBPs, cut tubing & casing. (Ability to run a cement bond log is a plus but not required).
- Monitors, evaluates, and adjusts processes or equipment to maximize quality and efficiency.
- Performs a combination of shipping, loading, and unloading duties.
- Follows all standard shipping practices and procedures with full FMCSA compliance regulations including additional transportation routing and scheduling requirements.
- Validates and documents identity and quantity of all equipment.
- Operates, maintains, and troubleshoots wireline truck and equipment including diagnostics, as well as keeps records for the overall operation.
- Drives company vehicles and equipment: wireline trucks, cranes, pickup truck, pickup truck with trailer.
- Ensures compliance with all regulations applicable to wireline explosives operations.
- Cleans and maintains company vehicles, tools, and equipment; troubleshoots tool, equipment, and truck problems; restores tools in the shop and in the field.
- Provides support to crew members with operations on and off location and communicate with technicians on equipment failure.
- Performs other duties as assigned as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Must be of legal age
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Must possess a Class B CDL (Hazmat endorsement preferred but not required)
- Must have an acceptable driving record
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening as well as background check
- Wireline experience required
- Willing to travel up to 80% time
