The Cased Hole Field Engineer plays a vital role in managing our crews, following / promoting our company values, and delivering top-notch service to our clients. This position entails multiple roles toward our field operations' success and driving our visions related to safety and service quality principles.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following :
Safely operate heavy equipment of various sizes and weights utilized in wireline operations
Assist in all pre-job load-outs, checks, and equipment readiness before dispatch to a location
Follow all government, company, and client policies and procedures
Identify any issues and report to the appropriate departments
Work an on-call schedule and dispatch to a job site when needed
Successfully achieve and obtain any required training qualifications associated with the position
Remain current on all third party and company-specific training programs
Lead a wellsite team and verify that team personnel complete training and development programs as assigned
Control quality of service delivery and execution during all phases of operations
Perform assigned reporting and administrative duties for field operations, accurately and on schedule
Ensure all assigned tools and equipment are maintained in a state of readiness and keep their status up to date
Perform any other duties necessary to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and abide by our organizational values
Note : All tasks are performed in accordance with applicable safety guidelines, as well as appropriate industry standards.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
High School Diploma / GED
Must be 21 years of age
Must possess a valid driver's license
Must possess a Class B CDL
Must have an acceptable driving record
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening as well as background check
Must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship
Must have the ability to obtain BATFE clearance for Employee Possessor of explosives
Wireline experience preferred but not required
Willing to travel up to 80% of the time
Must possess the Necessary Physical Abilities to Perform Essential Functions
Must have a good background in troubleshooting of cased hole operations, tools, and equipment
Must have the ability to drive and operate the equipment under various working conditions
Must have working knowledge of methods, materials, and tools used in wireline operations
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers
Experience using computers for a variety of tasks
Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment
