To help us drive excellence, as a Designer, you'll get to :
- Support the Company's mission, vision, values, and goals in performance of daily activities.
- Creates designs for new and / or improved detail parts and assemblies for automotive structural components, frames, and associated components.
- Work with the project team to develop designs that fit the vehicle package and meet or exceed the performance targets specified by the customer in a timely manner.
- Provide key input into the development of departmental strategic goals along with identifying key measurable to support the departmental goals.
- Designs projects for new and improved designs for automobile structural members, modules and associated components.
- Supports the design process among engineers with model designs, analysis and detailed cost estimation.
- Establishes and monitors capability and standard practice expectations.
- Assures quality compliance in both design and structural characteristics.
- Support weekly program Tech Reviews.
- Responsible for initiating ECR's in Matrix One / Campfire, support PM's with all program ECR's. input, track and log ECR entries from team evaluators and ensure team members respond to ECR's in a timely manner.
This full-time role is a part of our Design Team and reports to the Design Engineering Manager
