In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the successful operation of our Materials Department by providing exceptional customer service, coordinating material handling activities, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with department staff, production personnel, and customers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain accurate records and data entry for materials, shipping, and customer orders.
- Coordinate daily interactions with carriers to schedule and cancel trucks.
- Pull customer orders, tag parts, scan orders, and operate a scale.
- Assist production as needed and support other departmental duties.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One to three months related experience and/or training preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Meticulous and organized approach to work.
- High level of cooperation and commitment to teamwork.
