Job Summary:
The VP of Sales will be responsible for leading the sales team and driving revenue growth for the company. The ideal candidate will have experience in clinical sales, leadership, and a deep understanding of the autism market. They will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing sales leads, and building strong relationships with key customers. The VP of Sales will report directly to the CEO and will be a key member of the executive team.
Your Role at Axis for Autism:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth
- Manage and motivate the clinical sales team
- Assists in the development sales plans and programs, both short and long range, to facilitate the profit growth and expansion of the organization’s programs and services; executes upon the plans once established
- Identifies and targets new client opportunities for the organization through thoughtful, focused and customized approaches. Reaches out to target clients to set up appointments and build relationships
- Generates leads, manages the sales cycle and successfully closes sales
- Monitors and reports competitive activities and industry trends
- Provides weekly and monthly sales statistics and communication on current and ‘pipeline’ sales initiatives
- Maintains and updates Axis for Autism’s client database, key contacts and contact information
- Initiates, schedules and attends applicable events to promote Axis for Autism’s scope of services and generate new leads
- Attends and participates in weekly sales meetings
- Supports and participates in company’s sales presentations
- Participates in activities intended to build relationships with existing or prospective customers (mixers, association meetings, networking events, Axis for Autism sponsored events, etc.)
- Assists in the development of the Axis for Autism budget. Works toward achievement of goals (e.g., # referrals) and also works within the budgeted expenses
- Serves as an ambassador of Axis for Autism in all contacts and relationships. Positively represents the company, its services, and its leadership.
- Seeks new and existing customer feedback on how Axis for Autism might better serve its clients. Promotes ongoing improvement in services and client relations.
- Build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
- Identify new sales opportunities and develop plans to capitalize on them
- Manage sales leads and ensure timely follow-up
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
- Supports the Axis for Autism mission, vision and values
- Assists other member of the team as needed
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field required
- 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a healthcare/clinical setting preferred
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets
- Understanding of the autism market and clinical sales
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
