What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Services Manager position at Axis Global Logistics?
Axis Global Logistics is seeking a Client Services Manager. The CSM serves as the primary communicator with customers regarding all high level activity. He/she will enhance customer integration and retention by providing a single point of contact for customer account interaction and swift issue resolution. He/she will be responsible for monitoring data integrity of shipments in operating platform.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
1. Identify customer performance expectations and measurements through dialog with customers, sales and operations;
2. Coordinate all related project management and project planning activities including but not limited to: sourcing labor, tracking projects, bid proposals, coordinate with exterior vendors, purchase orders, follow up with clients, transportation, installation, etc.
3. Generate labor and materials quotes to assist sales team, as well as ensuring quality and accuracy of each project.
4. Ensure all project management tools and systems are updated
5. Assist implementation of customer performance expectations and measurements with call center leadership and the sales team;
6. Serve as an expediter and single point of contact when necessary for particularly critical, complex, or larger customer orders;
7. Assist the sales team by providing market segment knowledge and recommending best practices based on available service offerings;
8. Develop and maintain a high level of market segment knowledge to enhance customer communication and instill customer confidence in the services offered by Axis Global;
9. Ensure all customer maintenance is updated with current customer information, including maintaining current contact information, operational details and auto-email notifications;
10. Develop, maintain and verify proper Inventory data for customers using Voxme or other WMS interface(s);
12. Audit customer charges and costs as needed to ensure proper billing and to determine appropriate profit margins; audit invoices on a predetermined schedule;
13. Performs other duties as assigned;
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s Degree
· Minimum 3 years of experience in project management and planning.
· Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Customer Service.
· Ability to accommodate flexible work schedules.
· Ability to communicate thoroughly and professionally with clients.
· Ability to think critically and be highly organized/detail-oriented.
· Ability to multi-task and function in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong computer skills required.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
