Maintenance Operations Specialist

Job Summary
The Maintenance Coordinator is a key member of the Axis Property Holdings & Management team, responsible for prioritizing, scheduling, and overseeing maintenance and repair tasks across multiple properties. This role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to anticipating and addressing potential maintenance issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prioritize and schedule maintenance and repair tasks to ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Collaborate with property management team members and the Construction Manager to ensure tenant satisfaction and efficient resolution of maintenance concerns.
• Evaluate vendor quotes and negotiate cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
• Coordinate routine property inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventative measures.
• Maintain accurate records of completed repairs and pending tasks in the maintenance request database.
• Assist in evaluating budgets for upcoming property maintenance and repair projects.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in renovation, repair, and maintenance work, preferably in a rental property or similar setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with tenants, property managers, and fellow team members.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts to address urgent maintenance needs.
• Interest in facilities management, construction, or related fields.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
