Title: DotNet Engineer
Location: Champaign, IL (Onsite)
Employment Type: Fulltime Permanent with AXISCADES.
Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled .NET Developer with hands-on experience in WPS to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development skills, a good understanding of geospatial data processing and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain .NET applications and services.
Implement and integrate WPS solutions for geospatial data processing.
Work closely with GIS analysts and backend teams to handle data workflows.
Optimize and troubleshoot application performance.
Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for software development.
Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services as needed.
Education & Experience Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) is an advantage.
Understanding of DevOps practices and version control tools like Git.
Technical Skills Required
Proficiency in .NET (C#) and ASP.NET Core.
Experience working with WPS (Web Processing Services).
Strong knowledge of REST APIs and web services.
Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
