Job Description:
Provide Assembly process steps for the New Product Introduction Programs using special customized software VPPA (Virtual Process Planning for Assembly), CAPP (Computer Aided Process Planning).
Procedures to validate and develop assembly process steps for New Product Introduction Programs of various engines and Machines of Mining Heavy engineering equipment.
Provide Line loading & line balancing (Time Standards), advanced product quality planning (APQP) which are extremely essential to avoid any delay in New Product Introduction (NPI)
Validate 3D product through VDRA (Virtual Design Review Audit) using Vismock Up and Factory CAD applications.
Process collaboration across R&D, Suppliers, Logistics and provide the assembly planning function.
Participate in project review meetings with client to finalize Assembly tooling, safety and process for New Product Introduction Programs (NPI)
Provide MBOM (Manufacturing bill of Material) to develop operation sequence of assembly using Team center Vismock up.
Planning of the work with offsite & offshore team, responsible for Coordinating work from offshore team to meet the project Milestones.
