Title : Power Validation Engineer
Location : Sunnyvale, CA (100% Onsite)
Employment Type : Fulltime Permanent with AXISCADES.
We are looking for HW Power engineers who can perform power validation and debugging on our customer products.
Qualifications :
- The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of Systems Engineering, power electronics, and microprocessor architecture.
- Understanding of modern consumer SoC microprocessors, DSP, neural and image processors.
- Expertise in LDOs, SMPS and power distribution in embedded systems
- Expertise in Power Supply Architecture, Power Estimation, Power Supply Design, Validation and power measurements
- Experience with schematic and layout tools similar to OrCAD and Allegro
- Expertise in power consumption modeling power trees and optimization on SoC microprocessors
- Experience with Lab Equipment such as Oscilloscopes, DC Analyzers, Current Meters and DAQ system
- Experience debugging power issues on embedded electronics devices
- Basic Experience with Linux or Android based consumer devices
- Familiarity with MATLAB and Python
