AxisCare is a leading homecare software provider, helping agencies nationwide streamline operations, ensure compliance, and deliver better care. As we grow into key markets, were seeking a motivated, well-connected BDR to help us expand in New York.
Position Overview
Were looking for a high-energy Business Development Representative to drive market awareness, build relationships with local agencies, and generate qualified leads for our Enterprise Sales team. This role is ideal for someone who knows the New York homecare landscape and is passionate about connecting with people and opening doors.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent AxisCare across the New York market, building trust and brand awareness
- Identify and engage key stakeholders at homecare agencies
- Host events, attend industry gatherings, and set up meetings with target accounts
- Generate top-of-funnel leads and introductions for the sales team
- Collaborate closely with Enterprise Account Executives for smooth handoffs
- Provide insight into local trends, competitors, and growth opportunities
Qualifications
- Based in or near NYC with deep knowledge of the local homecare market
- 3 years in business development (homecare, healthcare, or B2B SaaS preferred)
- Strong network within the New York Medicaid/MLTC space is a plus
- Comfortable with outreach, event hosting, and face-to-face meetings
- Self-starter who thrives independently and builds long-term relationships
