Position Summary:
This position will ensure the performance of our supply chain by executing the daily requirements needed for orders, production, schedules, and shipments. This position supports both operations and customer service in a fast-paced environment focused on detail, accuracy, and flexibility. Axium Packaging is a fast-growing and leading producer of packaging for personal-care, food, home, hygiene, and other products. We have operations throughout North America and are investing in new growth constantly.
Responsibilities:
· Enter customer sales orders into SAP
· Work with customers to manage demand and planning for components to make product in conjunction with scheduling production of the finished products for customers
· Guarantees that the finished product is delivered to customer warehouses in a timely manner and works in conjunction with customers to prioritize production if necessary
· Manages key vendor relationships and vendor score carding
· Track orders for assigned customers through system and process
· Works cross functionally with Customer Planning, Allocation, Finance and Warehousing teams to support production and flow
· Prepare new production orders and report completed production to internal teams
· Maintain and process documentation for execution of material movement
· Review and monitor inventory and safety stock levels for assigned materials
· Communicate with customer and internal teams’ timelines, inventory, and schedules
· Responsible for the data integrity of Material Requirement Planning (MRP) that will enable a consistent planning horizon
· Ability to understand business needs and prioritize daily tasks to best support Operational Efficiency
· Reconcile and report inventory
Requirements and Qualifications:
· Associates degree or equivalent experience in supply chain functions: logistics, production planning, and customer service
· Manufacturing experience (1-2 years minimum)
· Experience with SAP software
· ·Attention to detail
· Problem-solving skills
· Computer proficiency, with Microsoft office and excel skill required.
