Warehouse Shipper

Position Summary:

Shippers at Axium Packaging are responsible for ensuring that all warehouse functions are completed accurately and on time. This position will be responsible for maintaining records of incoming and outgoing shipments. Shippers will also need to be accountable for the accuracy and readiness of customer orders and deliver them in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Effective communication, organizational, and math skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment, but also independently using time productively with little supervision.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds throughout the day and perform physical workload.
• Ability to operate forklift and pallet jack equipment. Candidates must have a Forklift Driver License.
• Experience using computers and applicable software.
• Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or other related fields.
• Ability to work together in a team environment.
• A minimum of 3 Months Experience driving a Forklift.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Responsible for keeping track of controlled SOP documentation daily.

Job Responsibilities:

• As orders are filled, check for overall product quality (product defects, damaged products, etc.)
• Pick and prepare orders using the pick ticket system and assist with the preparation of the necessary paperwork and documentation that accompanies the shipment.
• Maintain proper inventory rotation procedures (first in, first out).
• Accurately prepare and package customer orders efficiently with attention to detail.
• Complete all stages of order fulfillment.
• Assist with inventory cycle and counting procedures, as needed.
• Always conduct good housekeeping and safety practices, Help in accordance with company policies.
• Meets company standards for safety, security, and productivity.
• Always follow all safety standards. This includes proper use of safety equipment, such as protective eye wear, shoes, etc.
• Employee must always Adhere to safety guidelines when operating equipment and moving material.
• Paying attention to detail and ability to label correctly.
• Unload inbound shipments safely and move products to storage locations.
• Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas to

ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.

• Report quality variances to efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into truck trailers.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials using a forklift, clamp truck, or other power equipment.

Requirements:

• A Forklift Driver License is a must for this role.

Pay: $19.00 an hour.

Available Shifts & Scheduling:

-8:00am-4:00pm and 12:00am-8:00am
