Procurement Buyer & Planner

Description:

• · Works onsite within a supply chain SAP transition team to move POs and Parts from one client facility to another.
• · Achieves meeting productivity goals set out by Program Management for daily and weekly PO and Supplier SAP system entry.
• · Conducts product PO entry into SAP and synchronization from sending location to receiving location.
• · Reviews each line item on each purchase order for accuracy and enters and aligns each PO into SAP systems for demand and schedule.
• · Interfaces with internal and external customers and suppliers
• · Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements.
• · Develops requests for quotations and proposals, analyzes supplier responses, negotiates and awards contracts, and manages post award supplier activities.
• · Interfaces with internal and external customers and suppliers
• · Uses company provided inventory levels, simulation, modeling forecasting data, and supplier performance for schedule and supplier risk management.

Make necessary decisions pertaining to dual sourcing or new supplier selection for at risk parts.

• · Monitors customer inventory demand and material assets to optimize total supply chain planning.
• · Incorporates planning decisions from customers and suppliers to reduce material and product variability and arrive at optimal solutions.

Requirements:

• · 7 years of experience
• · Must be fluent in all Microsoft Office, especially Excel programs (Excel is used 90% of the job)
• · Proficient in SAP experience.
• · Prefer aerostructures and manufacturing parts procurement experience.

Estimated Start date 04/21/2023 through year end.

Pay range: $38/hr. - $42/hr.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Wichita, KS: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

• Procurement: 5 years (Required)
• Purchasing: 5 years (Required)
• Aerospace: 5 years (Required)
• SAP: 5 years (Preferred)
