We are actively seeking an Inbound Sales Development Rep to join our exceptional and rapidly growing global team. The position is remote within the U.S. and reports into our Marketing Organization – a unique opportunity for those who are interested in Marketing while also wanting to develop and hone foundational Sales skills. If you live in the Tri-State area, you are required to be in our NYC office 3 days per week, with the other 2 days being remote.

OpenAsset employs 85 people and is growing rapidly. OpenAsset has partnered with Marlin Equity Partners, an $8bn private equity fund, to help the business scale its sales, technical and management capacity to meet accelerating demand for its B2B SaaS product.


Role Description


We are seeking an entry-level go-getter who’s eager to learn how Marketing and Sales in a B2B SaaS company work. You are excited to see how these two functions are connected as you help the company meet our meeting booking and pipeline goals. In this role, you’ll dabble in copywriting, perfect your phone communication, and tap into your creativity as you engage directly with leads and secure their interest in evaluating OpenAsset.


As part of the Marketing Organization, this opportunity allows you to learn best-in-class B2B Marketing strategies, get your hands on useful technologies to enhance your work, understand company metrics, and develop your pitch, all while being supported by a close-knit team that wants you to win.


Responsibilities

  • Follow up and schedule meetings with leads who request to talk to our Sales team to learn more about the OpenAsset product
  • Use personalization and creative outreach (through both email and calls) to follow up with leads who engage with our Marketing content and events
  • Provide regular feedback to the team on the effectiveness of different Marketing campaigns and proactively implement your ideas to optimize your outreach
  • Own your schedule and prioritize your outreach efforts to pursue the highest quality leads
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing & Sales team members to book, track, and understand the success rate of meetings


Skills and Experience

  • 0-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Resourceful, independent, self-motivated, and accountable for your own results.
  • Adaptable and able to pivot priorities without missing a beat.
  • Organized, organized, and organized some more.
  • Tech-savvy and quick to learn.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (you’re excited to write compelling emails and make calls to drive your results!).
  • Loves dancing, long walks on the beach, and unique music mixes, whether from jazz, Disney movies, or old school reggae.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
