Position Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Integration Specialist to join an ongoing project to combine multiple information systems for a government agency. The specialist will play a crucial role in integrating diverse systems, applications, and processes across the organization, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality. This position involves designing and implementing complex data interfaces, offering strategic guidance on data-related matters, and ensuring the data architecture supports organizational and project goals. You will collaborate with various teams across the government agency, external vendors, and key stakeholders to fulfill data integration requirements and foster innovation.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaboration and Requirements Gathering :
o Work closely with clients, including business stakeholders and technical teams, to understand business needs and translate them into technical and system requirements.
o Develop a deep understanding of client goals and challenges to offer targeted integration solutions.
o Build secure, scalable, and efficient data interfaces for seamless data exchange between systems.
o Create and implement strategic plans for the development, deployment, and management of integrated information systems.
o Ensure integration architecture aligns with both current and future business and project requirements.
o Work closely with IT teams, business analysts, and project managers to ensure successful system integrations and implementations.
o Facilitate communication across agency departments, campuses, and external vendors to ensure the smooth execution of data integration projects.
o Provide expertise in system security, performance, and scalability, ensuring integration solutions are secure and support organizational goals.
o Identify and resolve any security risks and performance bottlenecks related to data integration.
o Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to provide innovative solutions.
o Recommend and implement new technologies or processes to improve integration strategies.
Required Experience :
Experience :
o 10 years of experience managing education, government, or corporate projects, with a strong emphasis on application development and data integration.
o Proven experience in developing and implementing comprehensive data strategies that support business goals.
o Strong background in designing, implementing, and maintaining data architecture to adapt to evolving business requirements.
o Expertise in managing data integration processes and crafting data management strategies to ensure seamless data flow and operational efficiency.
Skills & Knowledge :
o Deep understanding of system integration methodologies and tools.
o Proficiency in data interface design, including developing secure and scalable solutions.
o Knowledge of current industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices for system integration.
o Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to address complex integration challenges.
o Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across various levels of the organization.
o Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration across departments and campuses.
