Your Impact
Axon’s rapid growth (domestically and internationally) has led to the need for a dynamic leader who can lead the effort to implement new process and technology in Finance and Accounting. Your problem-solving skills, business acumen and technical expertise will come into play as you find effective ways to bring technology to bear on our processes. You will have a deep understanding of financial systems, a passion for technology, and a strategic mindset to drive efficiency and growth.
What You’ll Do
Location : Hybrid from Seattle WA, Scottsdale AZ, San Francisco CA, Boston MA, Sterling VA, Atlanta GA, Denver CO
Reports to : SVP, FP&A
- You will collaborate with senior finance and accounting leaders to understand business needs, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- You will design effective business process solutions that support growth, improved customer experience and strong internal controls.
- You will partner to solve business problems by translating business requirements into technological and process improvement solutions.
- You will develop and communicate the vision and roadmap for improvements related to Finance and Accounting, determining what functionality is prioritized and implemented.
- You will help drive the selection, customization, and implementation of financial systems.
- You will negotiate and communicate with various stakeholders to ensure organizational alignment on architecture, solutions and approach.
- You will drive the adoption of best practices in financial data management, reporting, and analytics.
- You will lead change management, driving user adoption and process adherence.
- You will foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure successful project outcomes.
- You will establish milestones and deliverables and monitor adherence to schedule delivery at the milestone / deliverable level.
- You will coordinate user interactions for project activities, including requirements, testing and validation.

The Pay : Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 136,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 220,000 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as : level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
