What are the responsibilities and job description for the Federal Corporate Counsel position at Axon Enterprise?
Location : Washington, District of Columbia, United States

- Serve as primary Legal support to Axon’s Federal team in its pursuit of supporting and growing Axon’s U.S. federal business
- Serve as Axon’s subject matter expert for federal government contracting matters and related compliance requirements
- Improve, develop, and execute Axon’s policies, processes, and procedures for compliance with federal contracting requirements
- Coordinate cross-functionally across Axon with Sales, Product, Supply Chain, Finance, and People Operations to support the company’s growth in federal markets
- Support development, implementation, and maintenance of contract lifecycle management system
- Advise on federal regulatory compliance for business organizations
- Research and advise on corporate governance practices, including federal contractual compliance
- Perform general legal research and analyze associated impact on the company
- Support state and local contracting efforts as needed
- Support and help maintain Axon’s compliance with federal data controls, including CUI and relevant security clearances

The Pay : Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 148,800 in the lowest geographic market and USD 238,080 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
