Your Impact
As a Product Operations Manager for Axon Air, you will be instrumental in building the early iterations of our operational systems. This is a high-visibility, high-autonomy role where you’ll work directly with Axon Air’s GM, executives across Axon, and external strategic partners.
You’ll help define how Axon Air operates by:
- Owning cross-functional execution across finance (FP&A), supply chain, and post-sales operations.
- Driving executive communication—owning QBR preparation, board updates, and key leadership presentations.
- Ensuring operational excellence across our work with Skydio and DroneSense.
This role is not for someone who wants a well-defined playbook. Instead, it’s for someone entrepreneurial, inventive, and ready to build systems from scratch.
What You’ll Do
Location: Hybrid [Scottsdale, Seattle, Denver, Atlanta, Boston, San Francisco]
Reports to: Manager, Strategic Alliances
- Operational Execution & Strategy
- Develop first-generation operational processes to scale Axon Air’s product and sales workflows efficiently.
- Own relationships with financial operations, including FP&A reporting, forecasting, and cross-functional budget alignment.
- Ensure seamless execution across Axon Air’s post-sales operations, working closely with legal, finance, and external partners.
- Process Development & Cross-Functional Enablement
- Collaborate closely with finance, product, sales, and supply chain to ensure alignment and execution against Axon Air’s aggressive growth goals.
- Build playbooks for engagement with our partners to streamline operations and internal execution.
- Help define Axon Air’s working culture by establishing scalable team-wide processes that support high-speed execution.
- Communications
- Prepare and refine executive-facing materials for Axon’s leadership team, including QBRs, investor presentations, and strategic partner updates.
- Work directly with the GM to shape and communicate Axon Air’s priorities internally and externally.
- Support strategic planning efforts by structuring key business reviews and leadership meetings.
What You Bring
- 5 years of experience in operations, finance, strategic planning, or a cross-functional execution role.
- Experience supporting executive-level communications (QBRs, board updates, investor materials).
- Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where priorities shift rapidly.
- Strong finance acumen—experience with FP&A, budgeting, and operational forecasting preferred.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools (Excel, Quip, Salesforce) and a strong ability to extract insights from data.
- Ability to work across multiple functions, aligning stakeholders with competing priorities.
- Bias for action—ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and execute quickly.

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 69,863 in the lowest geographic market and USD 111,780 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
