Your Impact
You will be part of the Global Manufacturing Operations organization. You will be leading the Business Accelerators team that includes Business Process Automation, Advanced Analytics and Management Operating Systems (MOS) for the Global Operations functions. In this role, you will bring leadership and technical expertise in business automation technologies to drive results for key performance improvements. You will be the thought leader that continuously evolves and accelerates the adoption of the very best AI and Automation practices, design, principles, management operating system development and continuous improvements.
This role will work closely with business partners within IT, Global Operations Functions (e.g., Manufacturing Operations, Quality, and Global Supply Chain) and other supporting functions. You will be the expert of protecting Axon Global Operations governance data in the cloud and will work closely with technology teams to meet business requirements while staying compliant to data security obligations.

What You’ll Do

- Work with senior leadership to shape the vision and strategic plans for Business Automation, Advanced Analytics and Management Operating Systems to align with Axon Technologies and Enterprise initiatives and goals.
- Lead the Business Automation and Advanced Analytics technology roadmaps, innovations, and implement these solutions to realize business value for Axon Global Operations functions.
- Serve as a leader in Global Operations cloud data migration and working side by side with the IT, IT Architecture Enterprise team to prove out new architectures for AI/ML solutions to the benefit of the entire Global Operations business.
- Lead and provide technical expertise to direct reports to deliver on projects commitments on Business Automation and Advanced Analytics programs for Global Operations.
- Be an evangelist of cutting-edge Business Automation, AI/ML and other technologies to showcase and socialize the new capabilities across Global Operations, applying innovative thinking to the toughest business problems.
- Create a culture of Continuous Improvement and drive results. Act quickly to identify viable solutions.
- Be the point of contact for protecting Axon Global Operations sensitive data while being the though leader for fully utilizing automation, AI/ML, and other technologies.
- Work on Strategic Planning & Execution.
- Structure and drive the Global Operations Management Operating System (MOS). This includes, Mission & Metric’s definition and alignment across Operations Functions year over year, maintaining established reporting systems (Scorecards, MBR/QBR Quip docs, etc.) and facilitate metrics reviews.
- Manage and deliver the team Annual Operating Plan and budget.
- Manage and deliver Invest and Benefits tracking for Business Automation and Advanced Analytics Portfolio Financial Management.
- Employ design thinking and agile methodologies to experiment, pilot, and deploy solutions including fast-fail, and scaled deployments.
- Facilitate & Chair Transformation efforts with Business & Leadership.
- Become a role model and mentor to coach and strengthen the technical expertise of the Axon Global Operations and broader technology community including IT.
- Manage an organization of directors, managers and individual contributors. Help the team develop their career path and development plans that fit their career goals. Also develop deep bench of technical expertise within the team that is not only meeting current project requirements but also well positioned to evolve for future technology trends/needs.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher or related discipline or equivalent work experience in Engineering, Computer Science, Advanced Technology Operations, Supply Chain, or Business.
- 10 Years of overall experience on delivering enterprise grade solution development, deployment and operation.
- 3 Years of delivery experience in Transformation/Automation Projects
- Multi year experience with Analytics methodologies
- Experience in Program/Portfolio Management Practices
- Team Management
- Multi year experience with Deterministic AI
- Experience with Generative / Probabilistic AI
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification
