Robotics and New Ventures - 10-year Goals
Your Impact
A key part of the Axon charter to Protect Life lies in leveraging emerging technology in tele-presence and robotics to improve safety and quality of outcomes between law enforcement, suspects, and the broader community. This focus is intentionally broad, as there are many paths Axon could take, both for a first step and long-term.
The long term focus of this effort is our third mission: “To produce a system capable of detecting, responding to, engaging, and incapacitating an armed threat in less than 30 seconds”
This is the charter of our Product Manager for Robotic Security.
We are looking for someone with a blend of subject matter expertise in tactical operations, in technical understanding of the most important technologies used to safely deploy remote systems, and with enough product development experience and understanding to effectively drive customer research and product requirements. They need to be a visionary who works well with green-field opportunities, a talented storyteller to craft their vision, and an effective writer to document the requirements to break down how to get there.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and external partners and vendors, leveraging customer insights to ensure your product delivers high-impact performance while supporting Axon's broader mission of providing advanced, life-saving technology.
