Axonius Federal is looking for a Field Product Manager who is passionate about building top-notch enterprise cybersecurity products. We seek individuals with experience leading complex products and features across multiple disciplines, specifically within the federal business landscape. Role Overview:
The Field Product Manager will serve as a visionary and strategist, driving the development and implementation of federal-focused requirements for Axonius Federal. This individual will have the unique responsibility of tracking all feature requests from federal customers, ensuring that Axonius Product Managers understand these requirements. Additionally, the Field Product Manager will collaborate with Axonius Project Managers to monitor the progress of these feature requests.
As a Federal Field Product Manager, you will work closely with the Axonius Federal Field CTO, Axonius R&D teams and collaborate with other members of the Product team. You will also collaborate with Axonius Federal customers, Customer Success, Marketing, and Sales. In addition, you will stay on top of cybersecurity trends, challenges, and solutions to improve product development.
What your day will look like:
- Create the vision, deeply understand the Axonius product roadmaps, drive execution to results, manage rollouts, learning processes, and manage outcomes.
- Work with federal customers to help direct the product roadmap, improve customer experience, and drive our business forward.
- Oversee all feature requests and assess their impact on the federal business landscape.
- Work closely with engineering, sales, and marketing teams throughout the product development lifecycle to deliver a best-in-class product.
- Partner with local and remote teams around the world. Communicate clearly about projects, risks, and accomplishments on behalf of the team to external and internal stakeholders.
- Develop a deep understanding of federal customer requirements and relay this information to the intended Axonius Product Manager.
- Conduct market research to understand the federal landscape, identify customer needs, and translate these into product requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within the federal sector to gather feedback and foster partnerships.
- Work closely with the sales engineering team to support pre-sales activities, including product roadmap reviews with customers.
- Act as a product evangelist, representing the company at industry events, conferences, and with the media.
Responsibilities:
- Articulating vision and product features to company stakeholders.
- Defining requirements and documenting feature specifications.
- Working with product designers to achieve the desired UX.
- Executing release plans together with the R&D teams and Product managers as needed
- Building, prioritizing, and maintaining the backlog.
- Defining the federal product strategy and roadmap.
- Creating and updating product documentation.
- Engaging with federal customers to gather and understand their requirements.
- Relaying federal customer requirements to the Axonius Product Manager.
- Conducting market research to understand the federal landscape, identify customer needs, and translate these into product requirements.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders within the federal sector.
- Supporting pre-sales activities, including product roadmap reviews.
- Representing the company at industry events, conferences, and with the media.
Minimum Qualifications:
- You're an interdisciplinary problem solver, skilled at managing complexity while driving teams towards achieving a mission.
- 5 years of experience as a Product Manager or equivalent. Proven track record of delivering software products/services to market at scale.
- At least 3 years of experience as a product manager within an enterprise B2B setting.
- Experience in taking a product or a module from concept to launch.
- Cybersecurity background.
- Experience working with both midsize enterprises which are cloud-native and large enterprise customers.
- Experience working with federal customers and understanding their unique requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong UI/UX skills.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Self-organized and process-driven.
- Experience with product analytics tools and methodologies.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication.
