$100,000.00/Yr. - $120,000.00/Yr.
Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 10%
Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 10%
These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.
About This Job
The AVP, Strategy and Enablement is responsible for coordinating annual strategy planning, monitoring progress against strategic plans, and ensuring management accountability. This role involves liaising with business units, supporting initiative creation, managing strategic plan policies and processes, and reporting to the board.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate annual strategy planning, including template creation, meeting coordination, board reporting, and approval processes
- Monitor and report on the organization's progress against the strategic plan inclusive of any deviations, providing regular updates to the board
- Liaise with business units to provide support for initiative creation, documentation, and execution management and any relevant training
- Evolve and streamline leadership reporting from senior leaders to various committees and boards
- Manage the strategic plan policy and processes related to strategy, initiative execution, and management accountability
- Ensure oversight and accountability of leadership by leveraging reporting and case management systems - This includes validating that initiative key results are accurate and complete, following up on initiatives that are not on track, and leveraging productivity reporting to support progress
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategy planning, management accountability, or a related role
- Strong understanding of strategic planning processes and management frameworks, including the ability to develop, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational goals
- Extensive experience in liaising with senior leadership and board members, including preparing and presenting reports, facilitating strategic discussions, and providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making - This also involves building strong relationships with key stakeholders and effectively communicating complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance related to management accountability
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to interpret complex data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines, demonstrating strong time management and organizational skills, prioritizing tasks effectively, and maintaining a high level of productivity even under pressure
