$65,000.00 - $78,000.00Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
This is a commission eligible role.
About This Job
As the Sales Team Leader, you will run a fast-paced, innovative origination team that makes a significant contribution to the success of the Bank and our strategic initiatives. You will build a team of world class MLOs and train them on our originations model, sales process, and a highly competitive product suite that includes: VA, FHA, conforming, jumbo, and portfolio (non QM) mortgages. Our operations team handles all of the processing of our mortgages and your job is to build the best sales and originations team possible.Responsibilities
- Lead sales and mortgage origination process. Build a winning culture focused on success, growth of individual performance, accountability, team work, and pride of ownership of the achievements of the Consumer Direct Mortgage Division.
- Work with management and SVP to identify, plan, organize, and implement sales programs and techniques to increase mortgage production.
- Hold team accountable for meeting established production goals. Coach sales team to optimize production opportunity, manage sales activity for consistent results within company production standards.
- Lead execution of the Strategic Initiatives of Consumer Direct Lending
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- HS Diploma
- 1 year's retail mortgage origination
- 1 year's mortgage origination management
- Extensive knowledge of VA, FHA, and Conforming guidelines
- Mortgage sales techniques
