Position : Lead Data Scientist
Location : Los Angeles, CA
Responsibilities : Design, implement, and continuously evaluate machine learning models; Monitor model performance, identifying and addressing any signs of data drift in model predictions; Manage and optimize ML pipelines; Explore and experiment with cutting-edge AI and ML techniques to stay ahead of the curve; Lead data science projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives; Collaborate with different teams to integrate data insights into business processes; Establish automated systems for regular model updates, ensuring they remain relevant and high-performing; Integrate models into production systems and develop APIs to serve predictions; Optimize algorithms for performance, especially in real-time environments; Prioritize the scalability of ML solutions to cater to growing demands; Mentor and guide a team of data scientists; Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth; Communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders; Collaborate with Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, and Product to ensure the validity, reliability, and timeliness of data used in modeling; Collaborate with IT to manage cloud resources and infrastructure; Ensure that models are transparent and interpretable and address bias and fairness in model predictions.
Educ. / experience : Ph.D. or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related field, plus one (1) year of post-baccalaureate experience as a Data Scientist or related position within the sports and entertainment ticketing field. Experience must include SQL, Python, AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, Looker, Kafka, and Docker.
Salary range : $151,694 - $160,000
