The Role
AXS is seeking an Associate Art Director to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. This role will stay attuned to the latest industry trends, foster strong relationships within the creative team, and drive efficient workflows. Leveraging their expertise, they will guide team members to execute a cohesive vision, consistently exceed expectations, and meet deadlines. Additionally, this role will lead the development of compelling presentation and meeting materials, ensuring the delivery of innovative, industry-leading creative solutions.
What Will You Do?
- Develop and maintain consistent brand guidelines, ensuring all designs and creative assets reflect and enhance the AXS brand identity.
- Lead a team of four designers, fostering collaboration and effective communication across time zones.
- Act as the primary point of contact for design-related tasks, providing support and direction to team members.
- Develop, review, and approve detailed design briefs in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Monitor design quality, troubleshoot design challenges, and provide strategic guidance to maintain consistency and innovation.
- Stay informed about design and industry trends to ensure cutting-edge solutions and market relevance.
- Recruit, train, and mentor design team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Plan and manage efficient workflows, anticipating potential challenges and implementing solutions to ensure timely project delivery.
- Assist in leading ideation workshops with the team to foster innovation and refine project concepts.
- Research and implement standards, processes, and tools to optimize team workflows and creative production.
