Associate Director, Payer Marketing

About This Role :

Axsome Therapeutics is seeking an Associate Director, Payer Marketing to drive Payer Marketing efforts and to ensure that Axsome's products are represented effectively and appropriately to payer decision makers. The Associate Director, Payer Marketing will play a critical role in ensuring that Patients have affordable access to the Company's innovative medicines. This position will collaborate cross functionally with the rest of the Market Access organization, Brand Marketing, Market Research, and the Digital Centric Collaborations teams to develop and articulate payer marketing strategy. This role reports directly to the Executive Director, Payer Marketing.

This role is based at Axsome's HQ in New York City with an on-site requirement of at least three days per week. We are unable to consider candidates who are looking for fully remote roles.

Job Responsibilities and Duties include, but are not limited to, the following :

• Support the resource development for the Payer Value Proposition across multiple therapeutic areas and assets
• Responsible for the creation of payer marketing resources that support overarching brand strategy and drive appropriate formulary access across Axsome's in-market assets
• Leverage data, internal and external insights, market events to support a compelling narrative in the payer space ensuring patients have affordable access to Axsome's innovative therapies
• Work closely with the Account team and Market Research to leverage internally and externally generated insights that inform an impactful strategy
• Partner with the HEOR team to create value messaging resources for the account team
• Participate in Brand team meetings, ensuring the payer point of view is represented and that payer access efforts support the overarching Brand Strategy
• Manage, effectively and efficiently, multiple projects that require cross-functional buy-in across different indications and therapeutic areas
• Support agency efforts including project management ensuring high quality projects are delivered in a timely and compliant fashion
• Manage submissions to the product review committee, following internal processes

Salary and Benefits :

The anticipated salary range for this role is $160,000 - $190,000. We encourage candidates of all levels to apply as there may be flexibility on final job title and responsibilities. The salary offer will be based on a variety of factors, including experience, qualifications, internal equity and location.
