About This Role
Axsome Therapeutics is seeking a Director / Senior Director, Field Medical Affairs - Migraine to lead its Migraine Medical Science Liaison (MSL) team. In collaboration with the broader Medical Affairs team, the Director / Senior Director will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategic plans and objectives that support Axsome's migraine asset. The Director / Senior Director, Field Medical Affairs - Migraine will build and mentor the Migraine MSL team and be responsible for driving performance. They will also maintain and develop relationships with migraine and thought leaders. This position will report to the Executive Director, Field Medical Affairs.
Job Responsibilities and Duties include, but are not limited to, the following :
Medical Affairs :
- Plan, facilitate, and deliver nonclinical & clinical presentations at Medical Affairs advisory board meetings and / or other meetings that involve HCPs
- Ensure regular capture and exchange of medical information and insights with other functions as appropriate for Medical Affairs to inform on strategy and unmet medical needs
- Serve as a technical advisor and represent Medical Affairs at scientific and / or medical meetings, advisory boards, and investigator meetings
- Establish and maintain a compliant partnership with the commercial team
- Support / lead various Medical Affairs cross-functional working groups as needed
- Develop and maintain thought leader relationships
- Maintain and demonstrate thorough and up-to-date knowledge of disease state, study methodology, clinical information, and product data
- Manage assigned programs within their designated scope, schedule, and budget

Salary and Benefits :
The anticipated salary range for this role is $210,000 - $240,000. We encourage candidates of all levels to apply as there may be flexibility on final job title and responsibilities. The salary offer will be based on a variety of factors, including experience, qualifications, internal equity and location.
