Position Summary: Pharmacy Technician in Training focus on the needs of our customers as they entrust us with their prescriptions and health needs. They are responsible for inputting and processing prescriptions, supporting patients with product information, and providing customer service in our store pharmacies.Interacts with patients and providers to meet patient treatment objectives. Must be willing to complete company and state-required training protocols.

- Maintaining records by recording and filing the prescriptions and orders of Physicians
- Sorting, stocking, and labeling medications and monitoring inventory
- Responding to the requests of patients and healthcare providers, answering their questions, and referring various inquiries to the Pharmacist
- Complying with rules, regulations, and procedures to help maintain a clean and safe pharmacy, such as by sterilizing equipment and surfaces
- Supporting pharmacological services by assembling, stocking and distributing medications
- Maintaining records by recording and filing the prescriptions and orders of Physicians
- Sorting, stocking and labeling medications and monitoring inventory
- Responding to the requests of patients and healthcare providers, answering their questions and referring various inquiries to the Pharmacist
- Complying with rules, regulations and procedures to help maintain a clean and safe pharmacy, such as by sterilizing equipment and surfaces
- Processing prescriptions electronically and ensuring all information is accurate and complete.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate’s Degree or higher preferred
- Technician in Training License
Physical Demands:
- Frequent standing, walking, grasping, carrying and speaking
- Occasional sitting, reaching, bending and stooping
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds, with assistance if needed
- Frequent use of a computer, keyboard, copy and fax machine, and phone
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
