Title: Operator I (1st & 2nd Shift)

Location: Irvine, CA - 92614

Duration: 6 Months Contract W2

Work Schedule:

• 1st Shift: 10 openings | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 30 openings | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

Training:

• Candidates will primarily train on their designated shift. However, if trainers are unavailable, some may train on the 1st shift.
• Most training will take place on the 2nd shift.
• Ensure candidates are informed about potential training schedule variations.
• Do not submit candidates for both shifts—confirm their preferred shift before submission.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform intricate manual assembly of high-precision products under a microscope.
• Utilize hand tools for assembly work.
• Maintain a cleanroom environment while handling delicate components.
• Follow detailed assembly procedures with a focus on precision and dexterity.
• Perform data entry and documentation, either manually or electronically.
• Experience with hand soldering is a plus.

Preferred Background & Skills:

• Manufacturing or assembly experience is preferred.
• Candidates from construction or warehouse backgrounds may not be a strong fit unless they demonstrate adaptability.
• Medical device experience is beneficial but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work on fine, small-scale assembly tasks.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• No diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in assembly, manufacturing, or similar hands-on roles is preferred.
• Candidates with no prior experience but a strong willingness to learn will also be considered.

Key Qualifications:

✔ Ability to work under a microscope for extended periods in a cleanroom environment.
✔ Experience in manufacturing or assembly roles.

Red Flags:

• Candidates with extensive backgrounds in physical labor-intensive roles (e.g., construction) who may struggle with microscope work.

Interview Process:

• Onsite interview with supervisors.
• Hands-on microscope demonstration to assess dexterity and ability to handle small components.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
