Job Title: Operator I
Location: Liberty, SC
Duration: 12 Months on W2
Shifts Available: 1st, 2nd, and 4th (Weekend) – Priority on 2nd Shift
Job Summary:
The Operator I is responsible for manufacturing high-quality medical devices in a controlled environment. Tasks may include assembly, repair, and testing of pacemakers, ICDs, leads, and related devices. Work is performed under close supervision, following standardized procedures, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, test, and repair medical device components per written procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure traceability of all parts.
- Follow safety protocols and wear proper attire per cleanroom and manufacturing guidelines.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and Lean Manufacturing practices.
- Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors, both verbally and in writing.
- Support QMS, EMS, and other regulatory and divisional requirements.
- Handle and manipulate small parts with dexterity and care.
- Use electronic data collection systems and basic computer applications.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
- Able to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working in cleanroom settings with strict dress code and hygiene policies.
Dress Code & Cleanroom Requirements:
- Strict adherence is required.
- Non-shedding, clean, tight-woven fabrics only.
- No glitter, sequins, fringes, or loose threads.
- Sleeves and collars must fit under gowning; no visible turtlenecks or sweaters.
- Closed-toe shoes with socks; no sandals or heels above 2 inches.
- No makeup, perfume, scented lotions, or artificial nails.
- Jewelry and piercings must not pierce gloves or be exposed.
Interview Note:
Candidates selected will be invited for a tour scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 10 AM. Please ensure candidates understand and are comfortable with the dress code and production environment.
