Duration: 6 Months on W2 (Potential for Full-Time Conversion)

Shift: 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM

• This is a Safety-Sensitive Position requiring a 10-Panel Drug Test.
• Candidates must pass the background check and drug screening—no exceptions.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter I to install, repair, and maintain piping systems in industrial, commercial, or residential settings. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to interpret technical drawings to ensure proper system functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications to determine pipe layout and installation requirements.
• Cut, thread, assemble, and install various piping systems using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Install supports, valves, and fittings to ensure system efficiency and safety.
• Conduct pressure tests and inspections to identify leaks and make necessary repairs or adjustments.
• Utilize welding, soldering, or adhesive techniques to secure pipe joints, depending on material and application.
• Troubleshoot and repair damaged or malfunctioning piping systems.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety regulations and best practices.
• Collaborate with other trades and contractors to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Journeyman certification (preferred).
• Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter in industrial, commercial, or residential settings.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and drawings.
• Familiarity with various pipe materials, including PVC, copper, and steel.
• Proficiency in operating hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Welding certification (a plus).
