Shift: First Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)
Important: This is a Safety-Sensitive Position requiring a 10-Panel Drug Test. Candidates must be fully aware that no exceptions will be made for positive drug test results during the background check.
Job Summary:
We are seeking motivated Production Technician III candidates to join our team in Pewaukee, WI. In this role, you will support the production, assembly, testing, and shipment of pumps and parts. This position requires strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pump Assembly & Disassembly: Assemble and disassemble pumps and parts according to specifications.
- Testing & Diagnosis: Conduct hydrostatic and performance tests on pumps; diagnose and repair service jobs.
- Inventory Management: Receive, stock, and pull inventory for pump and parts orders.
- Preparation & Painting: Prep and paint pumps and parts as needed.
- Shipping & Packaging: Package completed orders for shipment, ensuring quality and accuracy.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all company safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Mechanical Skills:* Hands-on experience with hand tools* and the ability to read diagrams/blueprints (experience in manufacturing or carpentry preferred).
- Computer Skills: Basic computer proficiency.
- Adaptability: Ability to multitask and support different areas within the shop.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: High level of precision in assembly and testing processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience: 2 years of mechanical assembly experience, particularly with rotating equipment.
- Equipment Handling: Forklift and crane operation experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting: Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Movement: Frequent standing, bending, squatting, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
- Climbing: Ability to climb ladders and work in elevated areas.
- Manual Labor: Capable of working in confined spaces, near water, and with material handling equipment.
- Shift Duration: Stand or walk for 8 hours per day.
- Overtime: Occasional overtime as needed.
Work Environment:
- Shop Setting: Daily use of hand tools and material handling equipment.
- Exposure: Routine exposure to shop elements (noise, dust, etc.).
