Industrial Maintenance Coordinator
AY Manufacturing Ltd., a Tier 1 world class assembler of Sunroofs for the automotive industry, is searching for a Maintenance Coordinator (supervisor) at our Westside Columbus, Ohio facility.
General Purpose of the Job:
Responsible for coordinating and implementing all preventatives, reactive, and predictive maintenance to minimize production downtime and maintenance cost. Also responsible for special projects such as new product equipment launches, machinery upgrades, process improvements, building modifications/expansions, etc.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Supervise, schedule, and coordinate all maintenance activities and personnel.
2. Root cause analysis potential or past maintenance failures to prevent future re-occurrence.
3. Provide continuous support for all maintenance needs to both internal and external customers.
4. Maintain a trained, clean, safe department with a positive moral and company attitude.
5. Obtain multiple quotes from vendors for large dollar projects.
6. Maintain plant crib and manufacturing supplies.
7. The maintenance supervisor will be responsible for the duties of the emergency coordinator.
8. Maintain outside appearance of building including landscape and parking lot.
9. Schedule testing and inspections for yearly local and state permits.
10. Other tasks as assigned by Management.
